A unique radio school has been initiated to ease up the impact of COVID-19 outbreak in Madhya Pradesh. Under Radio School, all the centers of All India Radio (AIR) in the state will be broadcasting school programs from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm till 14 April.
According to media reports, the radio school is being started by the State Education Center with the help of AIR. The state Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chauhan will also tell inspiring and motivating stories to the students through the radio school.
The purpose of this special educational radio program is to provide regular studies to students of the state from the comfort of their home during the lockdown period. The School Education Department has asked all the students to listen to this program regularly and continue with their studies.
Apart from this radio program, time to time, class-wise and subject-wise varied and interesting educational material will also be made available to students via school teachers, who will conduct these sessions for the students.
The chief minister launched this radio school programme for school children below class eighth and requested them to continue their studies through the same. The chief minister narrated a story based on epic Mahabharata for the children in the first session which was broadcasted from 17 centers of Aakashwani and Vivid Bharti.
