Bhopal – Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, launched a new bi-weekly superfast express train service between Bhopal and Rewa at Bhopal Railway Station on Friday. This new train service seeks to considerably increase passenger connection between these two vital cities, providing an alternative transportation option for people of various villages along the way.
The newly established Train No. 22145, Bhopal-Rewa Superfast Bi-weekly Express, will depart from Bhopal station every Friday and Sunday at 11:00 p.m. The train is expected to arrive at Rewa station the next day at 09:15 a.m., after a journey of roughly 10 hours and 15 minutes.
Train No. 22146, Rewa-Bhopal Superfast Bi-weekly Express, departs Rewa station every Saturday and Monday at 10:30 p.m. and arrives at Bhopal station at 8:05 a.m. the following day. The return travel will follow the same path and will take around 9 hours and 35 minutes.
The train will make scheduled stops at significant stations such as Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, and Satna, making it a handy travel alternative for these towns’ population.
Railway authorities stressed that the new train service will provide customers with a comfortable and safe travel experience. The service is projected to not only improve everyday commuters’ travel experiences, but also play an important role in strengthening economic, social, tourist, and cultural relations between Bhopal and Rewa.
