India’s ambition to become a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing has taken another significant step forward with Paras Semiconductor announcing plans to establish an advanced semiconductor packaging facility in Madhya Pradesh. The project, which involves an investment of ₹6,200 crore, reflects the country’s growing commitment to developing a strong domestic semiconductor ecosystem while reinforcing Madhya Pradesh’s position as an emerging destination for high-tech manufacturing. By expanding domestic packaging and testing capabilities, the project will reduce reliance on international supply chains while supporting the government’s vision of building a self-reliant technology ecosystem.
