Madhya Pradesh is poised to witness a major industrial transformation with the approval of a ₹2,100 crore PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, announced by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Sanctioned by the Union Ministry of Textiles under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the project is expected to catalyze economic growth, attract massive investments, and generate lakhs of employment opportunities in the state.
Located in Bhainsola village of Dhar district, the textile park will span 2,100 acres and feature state-of-the-art infrastructure. It includes a 20 MLD Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant, solar- powered systems, plug-and-play manufacturing units, and housing for workers—making it a model for sustainable industrial development.
With construction scheduled to be completed within 14 months, the park’s strategic location— just 110 km from Indore, 50 km from the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, and 452 km from Hazira port —offers excellent connectivity for domestic and international trade.
The project is expected to attract investments worth ₹10,000 crore, with land allocation processes starting soon. CM Yadav emphasized that this landmark development would establish Madhya Pradesh as a premier textile hub and significantly boost the state’s economy. The PM MITRA Park represents a major step toward innovation, sustainability, and global competitiveness in India’s textile sector.
