In a strong push to attract new investments and accelerate industrial growth, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), hosted an Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Power and Renewable Energy Equipment Manufacturing and White Goods at Hotel Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
The session, chaired by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, brought together leading names from Indian and global industries, investors, and business representatives. The focus was clear — to showcase Madhya Pradesh as a fast-emerging hub for manufacturing and investment in India’s evolving industrial landscape.
Among the distinguished guests was Andre Eckholt, Managing Director of Hettich India, SAARC, Middle East, and Africa, who shared his insights on Madhya Pradesh’s remarkable transformation into a promising destination for industrial development. Speaking at the event, Mr. Eckholt emphasized Hettich’s long-standing partnership with the state and its strong confidence in Madhya Pradesh’s growth potential.
“Hettich remains strongly committed to Madhya Pradesh as a key region in its India growth strategy, with a total planned investment of ₹2,000 crore across the country. So far, over ₹1,200 crore has already been invested in the state, underscoring our confidence in its industrial ecosystem,” said Mr. Eckholt.
“In line with the ‘Make in India’ vision, we aim to expand our manufacturing capacity by 50% over the next five years. Our BIS certification is proof of our dedication to world-class quality and advanced manufacturing standards,” he added.
Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s continuous efforts to build a conducive environment for investors, citing the success of the Global Investors Summit 2025. He also drew attention to transformative initiatives like the PM MITRA Park in Dhar and the Manufacturing Zone for Power and Renewable Energy in Narmadapuram, both of which have sparked strong interest from investors worldwide.
The interactive session served as an engaging platform for collaboration between the government and industry leaders, reaffirming Madhya Pradesh’s position as one of India’s fastest-growing industrial hubs. With a strong emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and skill development, the state continues to play a pivotal role in driving the nation’s ‘Make in India’ vision forward.
