Indore, Madhya Pradesh – Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution (West Discom) is making great developments in power communications development and ability growth as part of a matched effort to support industrial growth. This effort intends to improve power supply facilities, helping both existing and new companies in Indore’s critical areas. Strategic planning for industrial demand
Manoj Sharma, West Discom’s city superintendent engineer, underlined the importance of methodical planning and coordination with industry associations in meeting rising electricity demand. “Through systematic planning and coordination with industry associations, enhancements are underway to cater to the burgeoning demand,” Sharma said.
One of the most significant developments in this initiative is the installation of a new 33/11 KV grid in Rau. This development will increase the electricity supply to around 300 industries located on Rau and CAT Road. Furthermore, important upgrades, including the installation of new behavior
Ors and transformers have greatly increased distribution capacity. “The installation of new conductors and transformers, totaling 50 replacements or installations, has significantly bolstered the distribution capacity, augmenting it by 10 MW,” Sharma stated.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply
To maintain a consistent and uninterrupted power supply, West Discom installed a double supply system in numerous feeds. This system functions as a fail-safe mechanism, offering a backup in the event of a disturbance, ensuring that industrial processes continue. The project also calls for the deployment of a dedicated team of executive engineers. This team is responsible for quickly addressing any operational issues encountered by industry operators, reiterating West Discom’s commitment to flawless electricity distribution.
