KidZania, the global leader in interactive family entertainment and learning centers, has launched an innovative collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Tourism to offer a one-of-a-kind and engaging tourism experience for children. This cooperation will bring Madhya Pradesh‘s legacy, culture, wildlife, and adventures to life via cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality experiences.
Under a special strategic relationship, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed to construct the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Experience Center at KidZania facilities in Mumbai and Delhi/NCR. Madhya Pradesh is the first state to offer such an immersive tourism experience exclusively for children, thanks to this program. Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture and Managing Director of the MP Tourism Board, stressed the importance of this initiative in forging enduring bonds with future generations of tourists.
Shri Shukla observed, “The current generation has always been tied to Madhya Pradesh‘s magnificent and scenic tourism spots. This project seeks to foster a generational relationship with the next generation. Children will learn about the state’s tourist attractions using engaging and interesting approaches like as 3D, virtual reality, and treasure hunts. This will not only entice children to visit the state with their family, but will also keep them engaged in state tourism throughout their lives.
The alliance hopes to capitalize on KidZania‘s expertise in creating immersive learning experiences. Mr. Rahul Dhamdhere, Chief Marketing Officer at KidZania, expressed his pleasure over the cooperation, saying, “KidZania is thrilled to work with a government entity and tourism board for the first time. Our goal has always been to provide different and enriching experiences for our young visitors. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Experience Center will provide a unique blend of entertainment and education, serving as a comprehensive platform for children and families to discover and connect with the state’s rich legacy. This effort is expected to promote the state’s appealing and memorable tourism destinations and cultural legacy, resulting in a rise in tourist numbers in the following years.
KidZania, noted for its role-playing activities that empower, inspire, and educate, draws millions of visitors each year. This year, KidZania Mumbai received 345,000 visitors, while KidZania Delhi NCR received 340,000 visitors. Multinational brands such as Air India, Parle G, Britannia, TVS Motors, IDFC First Bank, and Frooti have developed experiential centers and workshops within KidZania, demonstrating the importance of the interactive learning center in brand development and reaching the next generation.
