In a significant move to scale up its manufacturing capabilities, AGI Greenpac has announced a capital investment of approximately INR 700 crore to establish a state-of-the-art greenfield glass manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh. This strategic expansion aims to increase the company’s container glass manufacturing capacity by nearly 25%, aligning with the surging demand for high-quality glass packaging across various sectors.
The new facility is being designed with a planned daily production capacity of 500 tonnes, and it will primarily cater to industries such as alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, and food. AGI Greenpac plans to commence commercial production within the next 24 months, underlining its focus on efficient project execution and responsiveness to market needs.
Madhya Pradesh’s central location, coupled with its robust infrastructure and abundant availability of raw materials, offers a strategic advantage for AGI Greenpac. The expansion is expected to significantly strengthen the company’s position in the Indian container glass market, while enhancing its ability to serve a wider customer base across the country.
