Century Group of Companies has added another airport media in its profile by winning the media and advertising rights at Ranchi airport. This airport has been tendered for the first time ever, for advertising purpose where the awardee is responsible for building new assets including static and digital sites.
The tender has been awarded for 9 years of span, as confirmed by Shashi Kumar Chaudhary, Founder-Century OOH.
The site installation infrastructure has commenced and is expected to be available for branding in coming few months.
Century Group has the highest number of airport media rights, by virtue of acquiring exclusive advertising rights for ten airports including Shillong, Tezpur and Lilabari. Betting big on the aviation growth, Chaudhary said the company is planning to expand its AOOH (Airport Out of Home) business and bag many more media rights. “Our business of AOOH will grow drastically; gradually we are converting our airports into digital media. Airports’ media portfolio will include traditional, digital, activation media. All of this remains on the agenda until 2023,” he further added.
