Pride Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its presence in Madhya Pradesh with the launch of Pride Plaza Indore, a new upscale hotel located on AB Road near Rau. The 141-room property marks the group’s second hotel in Indore and its fifth property in the state, reflecting the growing importance of Indore as a business, tourism and events destination. The launch is also a significant milestone for Pride Hotels, as it represents the group’s 40th hotel inauguration since it began its journey with its first owned property in Pune in 1987.
Designed to serve both business and leisure travellers, Pride Plaza Indore brings together contemporary accommodation, dining and event facilities under one roof. The property features 141 rooms and suites along with an all-day dining restaurant, a poolside lounge and bar, a café, swimming pool, fitness facilities and multiple meeting and event spaces. Its facilities are particularly suited to corporate gatherings, conferences, weddings and social celebrations, making the hotel more than just an accommodation option for visitors to the city.
The hotel’s location near Rau also gives it strategic importance. Situated on the AB Road corridor, the property offers connectivity to key parts of Indore and nearby business and industrial areas. Its positioning allows it to cater to corporate travellers while also providing a convenient base for people visiting the wider Indore region and nearby destinations. The hotel is also located around 16 kilometres from Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport, adding to its accessibility for outstation guests.
The launch carries a deeper significance for Pride Hotels because Madhya Pradesh has a personal connection with the group’s leadership. Chairman and Managing Director S.P. Jain is from Sagar district, making the opening of an owned Pride property in the state an important homecoming for the group. With Pride Plaza Indore, the company now has a stronger footprint across Madhya Pradesh, with properties in Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain and Jabalpur.
Indore itself has been developing rapidly as a commercial and urban centre, while its reputation as a clean, entrepreneurial and increasingly popular travel destination continues to grow. The arrival of another major hospitality property indicates the rising demand for quality accommodation and professionally managed venues in the city. Pride Plaza Indore is positioned to benefit from this demand by combining hospitality with dedicated infrastructure for meetings, events, celebrations and leisure stays.
The opening also highlights Pride Hotels & Resorts’ wider expansion strategy. The group currently operates 40 hotels with more than 3,200 rooms and has additional projects in its pipeline. Once the confirmed developments are completed, the company’s network is expected to grow beyond 70 hotels and more than 5,500 rooms across India. Pride Plaza Indore therefore represents not only a new addition to the city’s hospitality sector but also another step in the group’s broader national growth journey.
With its combination of modern rooms, dining experiences, leisure facilities and flexible event spaces, Pride Plaza Indore is positioned to become an important hospitality destination in Central India. Its arrival reflects the changing character of Indore, where business activity, tourism, celebrations and modern lifestyle experiences are increasingly coming together. As the city continues to grow, properties such as Pride Plaza Indore could play an important role in meeting the evolving expectations of travellers and strengthening Indore’s position on India’s hospitality map.
