Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Marking a major step in central India’s industrial evolution, TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has performed the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony for its upcoming Grade A, built-to-suit industrial and logistics park in Indore. The project, scheduled to become operational by August 2026, represents a strategic investment of ₹250 crore aimed at transforming the region’s warehousing and industrial landscape.
Spread across 20 acres in Pithampur Sector 7, the upcoming facility is designed to meet the rising demand for premium, compliant, and future-ready logistics infrastructure. With industrial growth accelerating in Madhya Pradesh, the development is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening supply chain networks across central and western India. The project is also projected to create employment opportunities for over 1,000 individuals, reinforcing its socio-economic impact on the local community.
Pithampur, often referred to as the industrial backbone of Madhya Pradesh, has long been a preferred destination for manufacturing and automotive companies. Its strategic positioning at the intersection of key consumption and production corridors makes it ideal for large-scale logistics operations. The new park’s location—just one kilometre from National Highway 47 on the Indore–Ahmedabad corridor—ensures seamless connectivity to major markets across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and beyond. Additionally, its proximity to the airport, railway station, and city centre enhances multimodal accessibility.
The land for the project has been allotted by the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), providing a significant advantage in terms of regulatory clarity and long-term operational security. This collaboration is expected to streamline statutory approvals and strengthen investor confidence by minimizing compliance and legal risks.
Designed in line with global industrial standards, the facility will support heavy-duty operations and modern logistics requirements. It will feature high-load FM2 flooring, a 13.5-metre-wide apron for smooth truck maneuverability, expansive internal road networks, advanced fire safety systems, and a dedicated 1,000 KVA power supply to ensure uninterrupted productivity. The park is being developed to accommodate diverse sectors including e-commerce, automotive, textiles, FMCG/FMCD, and third-party logistics providers.
Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, emphasized that the company’s entry into Indore addresses the critical shortage of Grade A industrial infrastructure in the region. He noted that as consumption patterns shift and industrial investments rise, there is a growing need for high-quality logistics ecosystems that are scalable, compliant, and strategically located.
Madhya Pradesh is currently experiencing rapid industrial momentum, supported by state-backed infrastructure initiatives such as the PM MITRA Textile Park and the Indore–Pithampur Economic Corridor. With additional railway network expansion plans underway, the state is positioning itself as a future-ready manufacturing and multimodal logistics hub.
Through this development, TVS ILP continues to expand its national footprint while reinforcing its commitment to delivering integrated, world-class industrial spaces that drive operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
