The historic town of Khajuraho once again glowed with art, rhythm, and cultural pride as the 52nd edition of the Khajuraho Dance Festival began on a grand note on 20th February to 26th February. Celebrated for bringing India’s classical dance heritage to life, the festival opened with a captivating Kathak recital that beautifully set the tone for the days ahead.
The event was inaugurated by Mohan Yadav, who spoke about the importance of preserving India’s cultural roots while presenting them confidently on international platforms. He described the festival as a proud symbol of Madhya Pradesh’s rich artistic identity and its growing presence on the global cultural map.
