The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has introduced a ground-breaking collaboration with the Gujarat authority and the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) in an original effort to develop tourism along the attractive Narmada River. To take coast travel to new heights, this deliberate partnership will provide tourists with an alluring voyage from the peaceful shores of Omkareshwar to the beautiful Statue of Unity in Kevadiya.
In familiarity with the terms of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) that the parties have hired, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will get two buoyant jetties from the IWAI, which will determine the groundwork for easy approach beside the river’s path. With this project, tourists can now capability a new era of exploration as they follow the river’s curving path for 120 km from Kevadiya to Chandankhedi, Kukshi.
Principal Secretary Sheo Shekhar Shukla showed the painstakingly constructed travel plan, which involves breathtaking stops at well-known places like Maheshwar, Mandleshwar, and Mandu. Four jetties will be structured to aid with this journey, acting as openings to the ancient and cultural attractions that line the watersides.
