In a new development from Indore, the District Industries and Trade Centre in Ratlam has approached the district administration with an application to transfer around 40 acre. This has been done so that they are able to develop at least three business clusters for multi-products.
Mahesh Sharma, General Manager, District Industries and Trade Centre, Ratlam, while talking about this development said, “We are looking to develop clusters to facilitate SME and for this we are identifying land parcels in the district. Recently, we have identified three land parcels and have moved an application to the district administration for the transfer of land. The locations of these land parcels suit the requirement of SME and can be developed into multi-product clusters.
Two land parcels of 5 acre each and one of 30 acre have been located for developing clusters for small scale industries. Industry associations of Ratlam, Dhar, Ujjain and Burhanpur have urged the MSE and can be developed into multi-product clusters.”
It was mentioned by the Laghu Udyog Bharati that industries have shown interest to set up engineering, pharmaceutical, ready-made and food processing units in Sanwer Road, Nemawar Road, Rau Rangwasa, Dhar Road, Ratlam and others.
