The 228th edition of the India International Mega Trade Fair which began in Indore, Madhya Pradesh from August 27, was concluded on September 5, culminating this vivid 10-day trade fair successfully in the city, which hosted IIMTF for the first time in its history of 228 editions.
Inaugurated by MSME minister OP Saklecha, the trade fair displayed over 25,000 different products from manufacturers and entrepreneurs from 8 different countries and 12 Indian states. In line with the COVID-19 protocols, only 80 stalls were accommodated at the event with countries like Dubai, Bangladesh, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Afghanistan participating to showcase their offerings. From India, the states of Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Punjab, Karnataka, Orissa, Gujarat, Kerala and Maharashtra enticed the visitors with their display.
The India International Mega Trade fair was jointly organized by the Association of Industries of Madhya Pradesh (AIMP) and Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Abhay Prashal Stadium.
The entry was free and the exhibition timings remained 11 AM- 9 PM.
