Hettich India has strengthened its presence in the Indian market with the inauguration of a new manufacturing facility in Pithampur, marking a significant investment of ₹700 crore. The plant is located in the industrial hub near Indore, a region increasingly emerging as a key center for manufacturing and industrial growth.
With this latest development, the company’s total investment in India has now reached approximately ₹2,000 crore, reflecting its long-term commitment to the country’s expanding furniture fittings and hardware market. The move is expected to boost local production capacity and support the growing demand for high-quality furniture solutions across India.
The newly launched facility was inaugurated by Andreas Hettich, who highlighted the strategic importance of India in the company’s global expansion plans. The plant, situated around 30 kilometers from Indore, is set to enhance operational efficiency while contributing to employment generation in the region.
This investment not only reinforces Hettich India’s manufacturing capabilities but also aligns with India’s push for industrial development and self-reliance in production. The Pithampur facility is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening supply chains and catering to both domestic and international markets.
