CtrlS Datacenters is making a significant stride in expanding India’s digital infrastructure with a fresh investment of ₹500 crore to establish a greenfield data center in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The project officially commenced with a virtual groundbreaking ceremony led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Planned to be developed within Badwai IT Park on a 5-acre plot allocated by the state government, this facility is poised to become a cornerstone of Central India’s digital evolution. It will cater to modern technology demands including high-performance cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI), and intensive data processing applications.

As an AI-ready hub, the data center will be equipped with cutting-edge systems for cooling, security, and sustainable operations. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate ₹15 crore annually in combined state and central GST revenue, alongside creating approximately 200 direct job opportunities during its development phases.

Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman and Managing Director of CtrlS Datacenters, expressed strong confidence in the state’s potential: “Madhya Pradesh offers a compelling mix of policy support, skilled workforce, and geographic advantage. Our upcoming facility here will not only meet current enterprise demands but also lay the groundwork for future-ready technologies.”

Established in 2007, CtrlS Datacenters currently operates 15 facilities across eight major Indian cities, offering services such as colocation, hyperscale solutions, and managed infrastructure. The company continues to lead with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and service reliability.
With this development, CtrlS aims to position Bhopal as a vital node in India’s expanding digital network, unlocking new possibilities for businesses and technology talent in the region.
