Bhaskar Jyoti India has taken a major step toward promoting clean and sustainable energy by successfully installing and commissioning a 1.4 MW rooftop solar power project at the facilities of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.
The project has been developed across multiple rooftops within the NCL premises, making efficient use of available space to generate renewable power. By integrating solar technology with existing infrastructure, the initiative aims to reduce dependence on conventional energy sources while supporting India’s growing transition toward greener alternatives.
Designed as a comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project, the solar installation includes advanced solar panels and a grid-connected system. This setup allows the plant to generate electricity efficiently and feed it directly into the facility’s power system, ensuring stable and reliable energy supply.
Apart from building the solar plant, Bhaskar Jyoti India will also manage the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the facility. This responsibility will help ensure that the system performs efficiently over the long term, maintaining high energy output and operational reliability.
Speaking about the achievement, Nitesh Gupta highlighted that the successful completion of the project demonstrates the company’s commitment to delivering dependable renewable energy solutions. He also emphasized the importance of high-quality execution, long-term maintenance, and the role such projects play in supporting India’s sustainability goals.
The installation is expected to contribute to reducing carbon emissions while making better use of rooftop spaces for clean power generation.
