Madhya Pradesh will take another step toward transforming its public transport ecosystem with a two-day mobility summit focused on technology, investment and modern transportation solutions. The event will be held on 11–12 September 2026 at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, bringing together government officials, transport authorities, urban mobility experts, technology companies, financial institutions and industry stakeholders.
The summit will focus on Mobility Vision 2030, the state’s broader roadmap for strengthening passenger transportation and creating more efficient, reliable and technology-driven mobility services. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is expected to inaugurate the event and highlight the government’s vision for improving public transport across Madhya Pradesh.
One of the major areas of discussion will be public-private partnerships (PPP). As cities continue to expand and demand for convenient transportation increases, collaboration between government agencies and private-sector organisations will become increasingly important. The summit will provide a platform for stakeholders to explore investment opportunities and practical models for expanding and modernising bus services.
Technology will also be at the centre of the discussions. Sessions will explore areas such as Intelligent Transport Management Systems (ITMS), AI-powered route planning, electric mobility, digital ticketing, integrated fare collection and data-driven transport planning. These technologies could help transport operators improve efficiency, optimise routes and make better operational decisions while offering passengers more convenient services.
The summit will also address the financial and operational challenges associated with public transportation. Discussions will focus on ways to make bus operations more financially sustainable, improve passenger safety and reliability, and encourage the adoption of cleaner and more environmentally responsible transport solutions.
Another important area will be employment and entrepreneurship opportunities within the mobility sector. Government initiatives and private-sector participation could create new opportunities for businesses, technology providers, transport operators and skilled professionals while contributing to the development of Madhya Pradesh’s wider mobility ecosystem.
The two-day programme is expected to feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical sessions and an industry exhibition showcasing emerging mobility technologies and solutions. Stakeholders will also have the opportunity to discuss investment models for transport infrastructure and explore innovative approaches to improving operational efficiency.
