Thomas Cook (India) Limited, India’s leading omni channel travel services company, has further strengthened its presence in Madhya Pradesh with the launch of its third outlet in Indore. With this expansion, the company now operates five outlets across the state, underlining its strategic focus on one of Central India’s fastest-growing travel markets.
The newly inaugurated outlet is aimed at improving accessibility and offering personalised travel solutions to customers in Indore and nearby regions. The launch ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries including Dr. Upinder Dhar, Former Vice Chancellor of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth University; Mr. Pawan Bhalika, Vice President of Maheshwari Samaj Indore; and Mr. Romil Pant, Executive Vice President & Head – Holidays, Thomas Cook India Limited.
Designed to cater to a wide spectrum of travellers—ranging from families and couples to millennials, Gen Z, business travellers and senior citizens—the Indore outlet offers a comprehensive suite of travel services. These include international and domestic holidays, group tours, customised itineraries, cruises, and value-added services such as travel insurance. Customers can also benefit from Thomas Cook’s advanced AI-powered booking platform, which enables real-time planning, availability checks and quick reservations for personalised vacations.
Travel trends from Indore and the wider Madhya Pradesh region reveal a clear shift toward longer and more immersive holidays. Short breaks that once averaged three days now extend to five to eight days, while longer vacations have grown to 10–15 days. International travel demand is strong, with destinations such as Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, France, Spain, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asian countries gaining popularity. Domestically, travellers are favouring Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala, the Andaman Islands, the North East and Bhutan.
Spiritual and pilgrimage tourism continues to see robust demand, particularly for Char Dham Yatra, Ayodhya–Prayagraj circuits and aerial darshans to Om Parvat in Dev Bhoomi. At the same time, travellers are showing growing interest in emerging global destinations such as Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Morocco, South Africa and Kenya.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head – Holidays, MICE and Visa, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, said that Indore remains a key growth market driven by rising travel aspirations across age groups and traveller segments. He added that the new outlet reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the city and its surrounding regions, and is designed to deliver high-quality service and curated travel experiences.
With this latest addition, Thomas Cook India continues to deepen its footprint in Madhya Pradesh, reinforcing its focus on customer convenience, innovation and personalised holiday planning.
