Lemon Tree Hotels has announced plans to add another address to its growing portfolio with th
signing of Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Bhopal. The new property is positioned to serve
both corporate travellers and holidaymakers, offering a blend of comfort, accessibility, and
modern hospitality. Operations of the hotel will be overseen by Carnation Hotels, the company’s
management arm.
The upcoming hotel will house 50 contemporary rooms and a variety of dining and event
spaces. Guests can expect an in-house restaurant along with facilities suited for gatherings and
business needs, including a banquet hall, meeting room, and conference hall. Its location offers
convenient travel links—around 23 km from Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport and roughly 14 km from
the Rani Kamalapati Railway Station—while being well connected by local road networks.
Speaking on the expansion, Vilas Pawar, CEO of the Managed & Franchise division, noted that
this addition strengthens the group’s presence in Madhya Pradesh. With several hotels already
operational and more in the pipeline, the company continues to view the state as a key market,
thanks to its growing economy, deep-rooted culture, and tourism potential. He also highlighted
that the signing aligns with the brand’s wider goal of making comfortable and reliable stays
available across cities of every size.
Lemon Tree Hotels remains one of the country’s biggest hospitality players, operating across
multiple segments through its seven sub-brands—from the premium Aurika Hotels & Resorts to
the budget-friendly Keys Lite. The group has also seen steady financial momentum, recording a
notable rise in profit and revenue in Q2 FY26 compared to the previous year’s quarter. Despite
this performance, the company’s stock saw a slight pullback on the BSE.
With this new Keys Select property, Lemon Tree Hotels continues to reinforce its presence in
central India, further expanding its reach and strengthening its commitment to offering quality
accommodation across the country.
