In a remarkable step toward a cleaner and brighter future, Cosmic PV Power Ltd. has been
allotted 60 acres of land in the Manufacturing Zone of Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh. The
company plans to set up a state-of-the-art 4 GW solar cell manufacturing plant — a project
that not only strengthens India’s renewable energy mission but also promises new opportunities
for growth and employment.
According to the company, this upcoming facility will boost production efficiency, expand their
solar product range, and help build stronger connections across the solar and energy
manufacturing sector. More importantly, it’s expected to bring major job opportunities to the
region and push Madhya Pradesh’s commitment toward sustainable industrial growth.
“The allotment of land in Narmadapuram represents a pivotal step toward expanding our
manufacturing footprint and contributing to the country’s clean energy goals,” said the company
in an official statement.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Mohasa-Babai Industrial Area in
Narmadapuram is quickly turning into a national hub for green energy manufacturing. Spread
over 1,435 acres, this massive project is being developed in two phases — each focusing on
clean energy and innovation.
Phase 1 covers 514.5 acres, with an investment of about ₹17,750 crore and the potential to
create over 21,000 jobs. Companies like U Energy, Lendmill Green Energy, and Rage Green
Energy are already setting up their units here.
Phase 2 will bring in 9 new units across 551 acres, including 7 renewable energy plants, with
investments of around ₹39,210 crore and 14,000+ new job opportunities. Key investors include Satvik Solar, Cosmic PV Power, Gautam Solar, and Oriana Power, among others.
The government is also supporting this green initiative with attractive benefits — like reduced
land costs, long-term payment plans, 100% stamp duty reimbursement, and subsidized water
— to make sustainable manufacturing more accessible.
This initiative not only helps reduce India’s dependence on imports but also pushes for eco-
friendly industrial growth, employment generation, and a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
With such strong steps and vision, Madhya Pradesh is clearly emerging as India’s next big
renewable energy hub — where innovation meets sustainability, and progress shines as bright as
the sun.
