Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of its newest upscale property, Lemon Tree Premier, Mhow, in Madhya Pradesh. The upcoming hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, and marks a significant addition to the brand’s expanding portfolio in Central India.
Strategically located in the scenic cantonment town of Mhow (officially known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar), the new property is set to feature 72 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, meeting room, banquet hall, swimming pool, spa, and other public amenities to cater to both leisure and business travelers.
The location of the hotel offers seamless connectivity. It lies approximately 30 kilometers from Indore Airport and about 29 kilometers from Indore Railway Station, with easy access via public and private transport.
Mhow is a town steeped in cultural, spiritual, and historical significance. Known as the birthplace of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the town attracts thousands of visitors each year, especially during Ambedkar Jayanti, to the Bhim Janmabhoomi memorial. Nature lovers are also drawn to nearby attractions like the breathtaking Patalpani Falls, especially during the monsoon season, and Janapav Kuti, a peak known for its mythological relevance and panoramic views.
Commenting on the development, Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels, stated, “We are thrilled to expand our presence in Madhya Pradesh, complementing our existing portfolio of four operational hotels with six exciting new properties in the pipeline. This strategic investment aligns with the state’s emerging role as a hub for wellness, spiritual tourism, and heritage hospitality.”
The addition of Lemon Tree Premier, Mhow, reflects the group’s commitment to tapping into culturally rich and high-potential destinations, enhancing its footprint across India’s growing hospitality landscape.
