The global technology giant Accenture has started its new technology centre in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Accenture has extensive plans to spread its global delivery network. The new facility in Indore is an important part of this plan. This centre will be concentrating on developing technology solutions for different industries. This is expected to bring digital transformation and drive innovation for clients.
India is strategically crucial for Accenture and hosts almost half of its global employees (approximately 300,000 employees out of its total 700,000 employees approximately). As such, India can be called the company’s talent hub.
In India, the company has centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Indore is a new addition to the company’s advanced technology centres across the country.
In this regard, Accenture’s Mahesh Zurale, senior managing director, lead – Advanced Technology Centres in India said, “We are thrilled to have a stronger presence in Indore. Our market-leading people policies, large investments in learning and development, and the boundaryless opportunities we offer across deep technology areas and industry domains, will open up new avenues for local talent and support our people looking for greater location flexibility.”
