One of Chhattisgarh’s most venerated sanctuaries, the Danteshwari Temple honors Goddess Danteshwari, an embodiment of Goddess Parvati, and is situated in the Dantewada area. The temple complex’s elaborate carvings and soaring shikharas, which display the craftsmanship of old artisans, make it an architectural wonder. Thousands of devotees go to the shrine every year during the fervently celebrated Dussehra celebration.
